fish in a bag

The kids and I made some fun party favors for my daughter's birthday last week. The supplies we used were: block of clear glycerin soap, small plastic fish, cellophane bags, funnel, and a bowl of ice water. It was really very easy. First we cut the soap into chunks and microwaved it until it was liquefied. Next we funnelled the soap into the bags and dropped in a fish. Finally, we set the bags into the ice water to harden.

The result was pretty cute, I think! Just something new and different for the kids to take home as a party favor. :)

How cute! And nothing to flush down the drain.
